The Association "Plovdiv Project Center" hosted the Erasmus+ funded project "Promoting Integration of NEETs Through Volunteering" from November 10 to 16, 2023.
The project brought together 32 participants from Bulgaria, Italy, and Romania, focusing on leveraging volunteering as a key tool to integrate young people from the NEET group (youth not in employment, education, or training) into the labor market. The project aimed to establish work habits through participation in volunteer initiatives and to enhance the motivation of this group to join the labor market through an educational training course, providing basic knowledge and skills for successful integration. The program’s priorities were directed towards achieving social inclusion, more active participation in society, and fair access to youth-targeted measures. By engaging young people from the NEET group in volunteering activities, the project sought to create an inclusive atmosphere that supported their integration into education and employment.Through the tools applied in the youth exchange, the project aimed to promote diversity of all kinds as a valuable learning source and guide participants to positively interact with people from various backgrounds in all types of situations.Note: The project was funded by the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC - hard.bg).
