At CPP, we craft and bring to life cultural and educational projects through a tapestry of programs like Erasmus+, Creative Europe, SERVE, CERV, Horizon Europe, Ministry of Culture in Bulgaria and other local initiatives. Rooted in the belief that culture connects and transforms, our work blends creativity, community, and collaboration across borders. From the first spark of an idea to the final event, we shape projects that tell stories, build bridges, and leave lasting impact. Along the way, we guide others—artists, educators, dreamers—helping them find their voice through the power of well-crafted, well-funded initiatives.
CPP integrates research and analysis into its project work to support evidence-based practices in youth development, cultural heritage, and volunteerism. The organization conducts both independent and collaborative research with the goal of improving social impact and informing public policy. Whether we’re looking at how to better support NEET youth, improve volunteer programs, or explore how young people connect with local heritage, our research helps shape every stage of what we do. We collaborate with partners, listen to the people we work with, and use what we learn to guide decisions, inspire change, and contribute to meaningful conversations—locally and across Europe.
Volunteering is at the heart of CPP’s mission. The organization actively promotes volunteering as a powerful tool for youth empowerment, social inclusion, and community development.CPP designs and implements both local and international projects that provide young people with meaningful opportunities to engage, learn, and grow through volunteer work.
For the past 12 years, the European Capitals of Culture (ECoC) initiative has been a cornerstone of our organization’s mission and activities. Our chairman Mr. Franz Kadiri has played a pivotal role in this endeavor, serving as both the Volunteer Coordinator and Project Manager for the ECoC initiative in Plovdiv, Bulgaria — the first Bulgarian city to hold this prestigious title. He continues to serve in this capacity to this day. His visionary leadership and pioneering approach laid the foundation for one of the most impactful volunteer programs in the history of the ECoC initiative. He developed and implemented the first structured Volunteer Programme for the European Capitals of Culture in Bulgaria, establishing a sustainable framework that remains a model of excellence. Under his guidance, more than 2,000 volunteers were mobilized, trained, and engaged in cultural events across the city, playing a crucial role in the successful realization of the Plovdiv 2019 ECoC programme. Our organization is proud to be a founding member of the ECoC Network of Volunteer Managers, a Europe-wide collaborative platform that connects professionals working with volunteers in the cultural sector. As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening the field of volunteer engagement, we provide expert training for volunteers and offer consulting services to cultural organizations. These services cover the full spectrum of volunteer management — from recruitment and training to retention and recognition — tailored to both small-scale community initiatives and large international cultural events. Our work continues to contribute to the legacy of the ECoC programme, ensuring that volunteerism remains at the heart of cultural participation and community building across Europe.
Since its establishment in 2011, CPP has prioritized the implementation of cultural events on both local and international levels. It organizes festivals, exhibitions, theatrical performances, and literary events that foster intercultural dialogue, build audiences, and increase access to cultural experiences across diverse social groups.CPP encourages cultural exchange on national and international levels through partnerships, creative residencies, joint projects, and participation in global cultural networks. It provides platforms for both emerging and established artists to showcase their work through open stages, exhibition spaces, competitions, and artist mobility programs. CPP integrates cultural education into processes of personal and social development by incorporating the arts into informal learning and creating programs that support social inclusion through culture.
